The philosophy behind Pago del Vicario wines is rooted in the terroir, the landscape, and the estate itself. The idea is for the grapes to go from vineyard to winery in just seconds, so the wines are infused with the personality of the vineyard.
Different places, same spirit
In Ciudad Real, we have chosen the Geographical Indication “Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla,” which gives the technical team greater freedom to craft wines that fully express the character of the estate.
El Bierzo, where the mencía and godello grape varieties are true emblems, offers an idyllic setting with a dreamlike landscape. Here, sublimation is possible thanks to vines that are over 110 years old.
