The Petit Verdot Rosé from Pago del Vicario is a unique rosé wine, made 100% from Petit Verdot grapes. Its careful production and unmistakable character have made it one of the most awarded rosés in Spain, recognized by FIJEV as Best Spanish Wine (2010 and 2011) and by AEPV as Best Rosé Wine in Spain for eight consecutive years.
With the soul of a red wine and a full-bodied structure, this wine surprises with its intensity, structure, and freshness. It is ideal both for rosé lovers and for those who have yet to discover the potential of this category. The Petit Verdot Rosé from Pago del Vicario is a commitment to the different and authentic.
Visually, it shows a bright raspberry pink color with abundant tears. On the nose, it reveals a remarkable aromatic complexity, with notes of maraschino cherries, raspberry, orange peel, sweet spices, blue flowers, and menthol.
On the palate, it is fresh, creamy, and characterful, denser than a traditional rosé. Its balanced acidity and balsamic, spicy character offer a sweet yet light experience. The finish is long and persistent, with memories of strawberry caramel, cherries, and blood orange.
Recommended serving temperature is between 10 ºC and 12 ºC. Ideal for pairing with vegetable rice dishes, eggplants with Parmesan, or wild duck.
